Direct Mount RD Hanger for GIANT Road Bikes.

Precision machined from 7075-T6 Aluminium.

Old Lightweight Version: Only ~12.2g! ~64% lighter than stock (34.7g).
New Aero Version: Only ~15.83g! ~54% lighter than stock (34.7g).

- Increases stiffness compared to the original Shimano pivot structure

- Minimises play from the stock hanger tolerance gap

- Improves shifting precision and responsiveness.

Note: After installation, the rear derailleur Hi, Lo, and B-Limit screws must be adjusted. If you are unfamiliar, please seek a professional bike mechanic for assistance.

Does a stronger rear derailleur hanger damage the chainstays during a fall/crash?

Answer
No, modern bikes nowadays have the thru-axles pass through the rear derailleur hanger. The thru-axle provides extremely high rigidity over the entire area; hence, the hanger will not cause the chain stay to break unless the thru-axle breaks. This is extremely rare and would be a major accident, which I hope we will never experience.
