A new-generation rear derailleur (RD) hanger co-developed by Ti Parts and Sixweel — combining Ti Parts’ precision hardware expertise with Sixweel’s engineering-driven structural design.
Built as a joint effort between two of the most respected component engineering teams in the industry, this hanger integrates the proven design principles from Ti Parts’ titanium hanger program with Sixweel’s advanced load-path analysis, alignment control, and manufacturing QC philosophy.
The result is a lighter, stiffer, more crash-resilient hanger that enhances shifting accuracy while offering a more accessible price point for daily riders and racers.
Key Features
1. Co-Engineered by Ti Parts × Sixweel
- Joint development combining Ti Parts’ precision component experience with Sixweel’s structural engineering capability.
- Inherits the alignment stability and load-flow principles from Sixweel titanium hanger platform.
- Further refined for aluminium with optimised deformation and weight efficiency.
2. 6061-T6 Aluminium
- High-strength, predictable deformation behaviour ideal for derailleur hanger applications.
- Excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio for consistent shifting performance.
- Lighter than Grade 5 titanium hanger equivalents.
3. Premium Metallic Powder Coating
- Ultra-fine metallic powder produces a brighter, sharper, more reflective surface.
- Colour remains stable under normal riding and storage conditions.
4. Ultra-Precision CNC Machining
- Machined to extremely tight controlled tolerances.
- Ensures precise hanger alignment with no need for shims or spacers.
- True drop-in fit across supported frame models.
5. Force-Optimised for Shifting Accuracy
- Sixweel’s force-path analysis improves lateral stiffness under shifting load.
- Reduces micro-bending to keep the derailleur in a stable trajectory.
- More precise shifting and quicker cassette engagement on modern 12-speed systems.
6. Crash-Optimised Protection
- Designed with controlled deformation behaviour instead of brittle failure.
- Impact energy is redirected toward the thru-axle and hub end cap, reducing stress to the frame.
- In most cases, the hanger retains functional integrity so you can finish the ride or get home safely after a crash.
7. Lightweight & More Accessible
- Noticeably lighter than titanium alternatives.
- A performance-forward upgrade over most stock hangers at a more accessible price point.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Question
Does a stronger rear derailleur hanger damage the chainstays during a fall/crash?
Answer
No, modern bikes nowadays have the thru-axles pass through the rear derailleur hanger. The thru-axle provides extremely high rigidity over the entire area; hence, the hanger will not cause the chain stay to break unless the thru-axle breaks. This is extremely rare and would be a major accident, which I hope we will never experience.
