TracEdge Ceramic Compound Brake Pads

Designed for E-MTB, Trail, and Enduro Applications

Manufactured in Taiwan , the TracEdge ceramic compound pads are developed to meet the specific demands of high-load and high-speed riding, especially on modern E-MTB platforms. The friction material is formulated from a performance-grade ceramic composite that balances power, consistency, and durability under prolonged braking conditions.

Material Characteristics

The ceramic compound used in TracEdge pads is engineered for elevated thermal stability and predictable braking behavior. Compared to traditional resin or semi-metallic pads, ceramic compounds maintain more consistent friction performance at high temperatures, reduce fading, and offer smoother engagement.

  • Stable braking across a wide temperature range

  • Excellent heat dissipation properties

  • Low noise performance under both dry and wet conditions

  • Extended pad life under heavy-duty usage

  • Reduced rotor glazing and deformation

Application and Intended Use

TracEdge pads are best suited for:

  • E-MTB systems with added vehicle weight and higher braking loads

  • Enduro and long-travel trail bikes frequently ridden on steep terrain

  • Riders seeking fade-resistant braking for sustained descents

  • E-Cargo or touring setups where weight and load create higher braking demands

Performance Under Load

Conventional organic pads often lose braking consistency under continuous braking or high ambient temperatures. TracEdge’s ceramic formula is optimized for extended descents, high-mass vehicles, and aggressive modulation without sacrificing control or pad integrity. Braking remains progressive, predictable, and quiet throughout long alpine runs or repeated braking events.
