Kolekcija: Powermeters
Speed lies. Wind, gradient, road surface, even your tyre pressure all skew the number on your head unit. Heart rate lies too, drifting upward with heat and fatigue, lagging behind effort, and telling you nothing when you're deep in a sprint. Power doesn't care about any of that. Watts are watts, whether you're climbing into a headwind or sitting in a paceline on a calm morning.
A power meter turns training from guesswork into feedback. It shows you exactly what an effort costs, tracks real fitness gains over weeks and months, and keeps you honest when the couch is calling. On a gran fondo or when you're chasing a PR, it's the pacer that won't let you blow up too early.
And once you've stared at your own numbers for a while, pro power files hit different. Watching what riders hold on a climb, or throw down in a bunch sprint, means a lot more once you know what your own legs are capable of.
