The AERO CARBON Rotor Lock Ring integrates an aluminium lock ring with a carbon fibre fairing, transforming a standard centerlock rotor into a more aerodynamic profile!

This design is conceived after the popularity of the Carbon Fibre Aero Rotors, and now, any rotor can be an aero rotor too!

The aluminium thread handles all structural clamping force.
The carbon section acts as an aerodynamic fairing - it does not carry load.

Specifications

For 140mm Rotor: ~23.3g 

For 160mm Rotor: ~28.3g

Required Tool: Shimano Cassette Tool

Recommended torque: 25Nm

The lock ring may feel tighter to turn by hand compared to stock versions. This is normal due to thread tolerances. Always tighten to 25Nm using a proper tool.

After initial installation, subsequent removal/installation becomes smoother.

Warning: Individual wheel hub thread tolerances may differ; over-tightening may result in damage to the aluminium thread.
